Genpro is excited to announce the acquisition of a non‐asset based brokerage operation in Chicago that will be accretive to its growth immediately. This acquisition is part of the company’s overall growth strategy that combines organic growth, optimized operations, and targeted acquisitions.
The acquisition boosts Genpro’s customer base and carrier bandwidth, while also establishing a footprint in the Midwest’s largest transportation hub. A related part of the acquisition enables Genpro to leverage synergies, and increase technology solutions to our carrier and customer network.
“We acquired the brokerage business from Cargo Chief, which is primarily a transportation technology application developer. While maintaining a relationship with the Silicon Valley transportation, we will have access to technology developed to help improve our market intelligence, and provide us with best practices for our customer service and procurement efficiencies,” states Rob Goldstein, President of Genpro.
